The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man following a shoplifting complaint in Wayne County.
Deputies say that Jeremy L. Blankenberg, 39, of Lyons concealed numerous items inside his coat and left a store without paying.
Surveillance video was reviewed by store personnel and confirmed Blankenberg’s identity.
He was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.
After processing, Blankenberg was released.
He is scheduled to appear before the Lyons Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
